Elle Macfarlane joined our family on Friday, September 5 at 6:28 pm. She weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 inches long. Our Ellie is the perfect little addition to our family. Gracie loves to kiss and hold her. Actually, we all do! Ellie has the cutest dark, curly hair with just a touch of golden highlights, long fingers and toes (a cute curly toe on each foot like Gracie -- not sure where they got those) and is a beautiful little doll. Gracie was so excited for her baby sister to "come out" and went in for a hug the moment she saw her. The next day, Gracie couldn't get enough of Ellie and was so excited about having her baby sister here! In fact, the morning after Ellie was born, Gracie announced to Grandma, "I'm a big sister!"
She is such a doll...I can't wait to hold her and smell her. Hopefully we will make a trip down there soon. Hope all is well and you are adjusting to a routine. Love, Aunt Carol
