In an earlier post, I mentioned Ellie's non-stop ear infections that started at Halloween and continued until just after Christmas. That is when her doctor suggested it might be time for tubes. After meeting with a wonderful otolaryngologist, we decided tubes was probably the best idea. So on January 7, Ellie was our little trooper and got tubes put in her ears. There is a good chance it was more stressful on me than it was on her since she didn't really understand what was happening, but she was a brave little thing and the procedure went great.
I never would have imagined both my girls would undergo procedures so early in their little lives that would require general anesthesia, but hopefully these adventures will be the first and the last for both of them for a really L-O-N-G time!
